Taken from the book Modern Cryptanalysis under Number Theoretical Ciphers » Elliptic Curves. A very abstract and advanced topic of mathematics which was thankfully an optional section of the book to my relief. A awesome book if your interested in modern day examples of code breaking and analysis.
